How to use the partner program
Hosting companies and agencies that bring customers to WPMaven earn from them. Everything about it is on one page of your dashboard, Partner program: your links, your customers, every payment and your statements.
Join
Write to partners@wpmaven.ai, or apply from the partner page. We set up your partner account, then Partner program appears in your dashboard’s menu when you sign in with the email address you gave us. Your onboarding call with your named contact goes through all of it with you.
Your links
Your partner code looks like WPM-P-K7Q2MX. Your page shows your links, with a
Copy link button beside each:
- Share this link.
https://wpmaven.ai/?ref=and your code. It opens our home page, and its sign-up buttons carry your code. If someone moves to another page of our site before signing up, the code does not follow them, so where you can, use the next one. - For a button in your hosting panel.
https://dashboard.wpmaven.ai/create?ref=and your code. It opens the free build straight away. Add&pref=and your own customer number to the end, and that number is what you see next to the customer on your page. - Your own dashboard address, once you have one (see Put your name on it). Someone who signs up there is your customer, with no link needed.
To install WPMaven on the WordPress sites your customers create in your panel, with your code built in, see How to install WPMaven from your hosting panel.
Who counts as yours
Someone who opens your link and signs up within 90 days is yours. The first partner link a person opens is the one that counts, and it never changes afterwards. An account that existed before the person opened your link stays where it is, and your own accounts never earn you anything.
What you earn
On revenue share, your customers pay us on their own card, and you earn 20% of what we collect from them, every month for as long as they stay, starting with their $1 first week:
- the base is what they paid, less any tax on it and the card fees;
- every payment shows on your page with the exact figures: paid, tax, card fees, base and your share;
- a refund or a chargeback takes back the same part of the share, from the month it happens; a chargeback you win gives it back.
Domains your customers buy are passed through at cost and earn no share.
Your Partner program page
- Your link, as above.
- Four figures: what is not on a statement yet (and the day it closes into one), the customers you brought, the ones paying now, and what has been paid to you so far.
- Payments not on a statement yet, each with its figures.
- Your customers: your own customer number when your link carried one, and otherwise the email address with the name hidden; when they joined; their plan; whether they are paying; what they earned you; and how they use it: their businesses, the actions their team delivered since the 1st of this month (UTC), and when they were last active.
- Statements, month by month.
Statements and payouts
Each month closes on the 1st (UTC). Its statement shows what you earned, what a refund or a chargeback took back, and the total. Our team sends the payout by bank transfer and marks the statement paid on your page, with the transfer reference. Each statement downloads as a spreadsheet (CSV).
A refund that lands after you were paid is taken from your next payout: you are never invoiced for it. Taxes on your payouts are for your accountant; your named contact asks for your bank and invoice details on your onboarding call.
Wholesale
On wholesale, you bill your customers yourself, at your own price, above our own retail price. For each customer we set up at wholesale for you, your monthly statement charges you the wholesale rate agreed with you while they are on a plan, and we send you the invoice for it, separately from any share. Customers who pay us themselves through your link still earn you 20% of what they pay.
Put your name on it
In Settings, under White label, set your name, logo and colors, the domain your customers’ emails go from, and your own dashboard address. What it changes depends on your route:
- Wholesale: your customers sign up and work on your own address, under your name. They see your name and never ours: on the dashboard, in the reports, in the emails and on their sites.
- Revenue share: people who sign up on your own address are your customers without a link. They see your name first, with ours as a small mark, and pay us through our checkout.
When a customer connects Instagram, YouTube or another network, that network’s own consent screen names the app that posts: WPMaven. No setting can change that screen.
See How to set up White label for each step.
Selling it
The partner kit has the brand assets, the one-pager, the decks, the playbooks, the email templates and the social posts, and the training covers what to say and what never to promise.
