How to check whether WPMaven is up

When something is not working, the status page tells you whether the problem is on our side.

Where to find it

Open wpmaven.ai/status.html, or choose Service status in the Help menu, the question mark at the top of the dashboard.

What it shows

  • One line for each part of WPMaven: the website, the dashboard, the API behind the dashboard and your team, the address your images and videos are served from, and a sample of the sites we host.
  • For each part, right now, from the latest check in each region: Up when every region passed or only one failed, Some checks failing when two or more regions failed, Down when most regions failed, or No recent data when no check has reported lately. For the hosted sites, Down means every site in the sample is down.
  • The last 90 days as one bar per day, and the share of checks that passed over those days.

How it is measured

Automated checks will run every few minutes, day and night, requesting each part of WPMaven from several regions around the world. A check will pass when the right page or answer comes back in time. Until the first checks report, the status page says No data yet.

  • Every failed check will count, even when only one region saw the failure. The checks will run every few minutes, so a shorter failure can go unseen.
  • Each check will request one address for its part, such as a home page, not every page you use.
  • A share is rounded down: it reads 100% only when every check passed.
  • A day without checks shows as no data, never as up.
  • The hosted sites line is a sample of sites we host, not your own site. If your site is down while that line says up, tell us.

If it says “No data yet”

The checks have not reported yet. The page fills in by itself once they do.

If the page cannot load the status

It says the live status is unavailable, and nothing else about the parts. The status service runs on the same system it reports on, so this can mean WPMaven itself is having trouble. If something is broken for you, email support@wpmaven.ai.

Service level

We do not promise a service level yet, and we will not set one until we have 90 days of measured data. The status page shows how many days we have measured so far. WPMaven does not hold a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification.

Monthly uptime report

We are not sending a monthly uptime report yet. When we start, it will carry the same numbers as the status page, one calendar month at a time.
