About the Role

As Senior AI Systems Architect, you'll design and evolve the technical architecture of WPMaven's AI platform. You'll make critical decisions about system design, technology choices, and integration patterns that enable our AI to scale reliably and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture for AI systems including inference, training, and data pipelines.
• Define technical standards, patterns, and best practices for AI development.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance on complex technical decisions.
• Design scalable APIs and integration patterns for AI services.
• Evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and cloud services.
• Ensure systems meet requirements for security, compliance, and data privacy.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement architectural decisions.
• Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Plan for system evolution, scalability, and technical debt management.

Requirements

Experience

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in architecture roles.
• Experience designing and operating large-scale AI/ML systems.
• Track record of successful system architecture decisions.

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud architectures.
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure (model serving, training pipelines, data platforms).
• Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong background in API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLM deployment at scale.
• Background in real-time systems or streaming architectures.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• WordPress or CMS platform experience.
