About the Role

As a Product Designer at WPMaven, you'll shape how users interact with our AI-powered WordPress platform. You'll tackle the unique challenge of making complex AI capabilities feel simple and delightful, creating experiences that empower users of all skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences for AI-powered WordPress management features.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
• Conduct user research to understand pain points and validate design decisions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure design feasibility and quality implementation.
• Develop and maintain our design system for consistency across the product.
• Design intuitive interfaces for complex AI interactions (chat, suggestions, automation).
• Create responsive designs that work beautifully across devices.
• Iterate based on user feedback and usage data.

Requirements

Experience

• 4+ years of product design experience, preferably in SaaS or developer tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work.
• Experience shipping products that users love.

Skills

• Expert proficiency with Figma (or similar design tools).
• Strong understanding of interaction design and usability principles.
• Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity and iterative design processes.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing AI/ML product interfaces.
• WordPress development or administration experience.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
• Experience with motion design and micro-interactions.
• Background in user research methods.
